You’ll have a preferred list of keywords that you want to rank for. These keywords should be completely relevant to your websites product or service offerings. Google Keyword Tool will help you develop a suitable and relevant keyword list that attracts users. Google Trends is also a handy tool to help determine spikes in search volume and provides an opportunity to capitalise on these upcoming demands.
Part 5: Keyword Strategy
It’s important to make sure you are keywords are entirely relevant to your websites product or service offerings. By link building, you can increase your websites authority by placing contextual links from referring or partnered blogs or websites. These links ultimately becomes your anchor text, which is the clickable hyperlink within content. This is like a word-of-mouth (WOM) referral and search engines will then view your website as relevant and engaging to users, rewarding you with higher rankings.
Part 6: Website Usability and Experience
It is important that your website is built to attract search engines, also covered in part 3. However the overall website structure, layout and content should also be user friendly. The general aesthetics of your site should be visual and appealing, so that when people discover your site, they spend more time on it and eventually make a purchase.

Link building is a fundamental part of SEO. Generating backlinks from referring domains helps grow your own website authority. The days where the quantity of links worked is now gone, and in today’s search space quality is crucial to maintaining a healthy backlink profile. The more links referring your website from high quality sources will be beneficial and help improve your rankings.

There are a number of accessible web tools that allow you to analyse your own, and other websites. When you are link building and searching for those high quality sources, you can use the preferred tools to ensure that you are receiving high authority within you backlinks.
